... I came REALLY late to this, didn't I?

Oh Well. I'll still try to make 50 fannish posts before the year ends (which I feel like it shouldn't be that hard, I feel like my brain is mostly hardwired to be a fan). As for what I'll do? I'll update my OMORI Proship Names List to include ships other than the main cast. Feel free to comment on it with suggestions for ships & ship names ^_^

I know, this sounds insane (if you don't know the game, just know anyone but the main cast are minor characters). But I already shipped Sunny with his mother, mostly cause I basically made her into an OC. One I adored so much I rambled to seer_beetle about her (I ramble to them about a lot of things, but not relevant). I was talking about a scenario where Sunny & his mom would get together and they went;

"Does anyone else get in on the fun?"

And started writing fanfiction where the others also got a crush / some fun with her. And now I genuinely ship Sunny's mom with the main cast.

So... I wrote Basil Thorn Was Not Meant For Happy Endings, a piece of work I am largely proud of & my first time writing for photobomb. I am happy to have written it.

But recently I had a thought. The fic was written out of frustration with the ending titles. As is; the bad ending has only Sunny die, while Basil dies in both neutral endings. It's my main grievance with the story, since it kind of ends up treating Basil as an afterthought with it. Obvioulsy, Basil is incredibly important to the story. It's just that the knife-ending not being THE bad ending is super odd to me in a frustrating way.

So, I wrote a piece where no matter what, Basil dies (excluding the last timeline but shhh).

But the thing is; Mari is that!

Mari is the one who is dead no matter what! So dead no matter what that the story starts AFTER she's dead. The story wouldn't be a thing without her death because it's about others dealing with her death. If Basil is destined to die, Mari is chained to it. Mari is this tumblr post.

I feel, so stupid, for not thinking of that, what is wrong with me? How did I miss this?

Things I've been doing recently;

• Furthering mixtapes: mostly for OMORI, I've got 8 mixes stuck in the unfinished category.


• Made another draft: for another OMORI fic, longfic but it shouldn't be multichapter.


• Started another drawing: It's gonna be a pink popcorn / Hero ♥ Aubrey drawing (SFW). Partly cause I need stuff for Pillowfort (man I should draw more).


• Job stuff that might go south: I won't go into detail, but its been *messy*.


• Started the Frankenstein's challenge: meme by trobadora, I've already done 2 days.

Things I want to do soon-ish;

• Finish more mixtapes


• Write 1 more fic this month


• Do the Frankenstein's meme without a skip day


• Consume more media

So I have a bunch of plot bunnies, but here's one I actually have started an outline on.

Basically; it's an OMORI × Hollow Knight fic, specifically an OMORI main cast in the first wave of the infection. The POV character will be Aubrey cause of several reasons. It will follow Aubrey from making friends to having 3 friends disappear for 2 reasons which is really one reason, aka, the Infection. It will likely be largely a pale/QPR Photobomb fic with a bittersweet/unhappy ending.

This will likely also be a multichapter fic, since it spans a large amount of time in semi-detail. So likely this will take a while before I finish writing it. Then again; it takes a while for me to write anything ._.
