Love Is A Place Where Your Innocence Goes When It Dies

So I was supposed to do... anything, for my own prompt list Aromantic February. But for a bunch of reasons I just, can't bring ourselves to focus on it. It doesn't help that we're currently more invested in trying to make fanart for minifemslashfebruary, & we're stuck on the prompt of day 3, so even that's going poorly.

Still, we made the rule for ourselves that we wouldn't beat ourselves up for it. So we'll just these prompts whenever we can.

I'm actually anxious_songbird.

The reason we made this account was to be openly proship without causing ourselves too much heartache & stress over what antis would do to us. We've heard horror stories over how people got harassed and doxed and other such things over ships & stories.

But today we realized something;

We're still gonna be us.

Our headcanons, opinions, views of things; they'll show & bleed over things we make.

We've for a while grown frustrated over the disconnect between our views on media & our cowardice regarding them. So, we're opening up now about it, at least here. Lying on the internet is a thing that happens, but hopefully you guys can understand why we did this & won't look on us poorly, we're trying to be better.

And for clarification; we're not abandoning this account. Hell we might post more now that we're not gonna hide the connection between this account & anxious_songbird.

Things I've been doing recently;

• Been doing the Frankenstein meme by trobadora without skipping a day so far! Yipee


• Started watching Across The Spiderverse: I'm not finished with the movie, not even halfway through, but so far I'm enjoying it a lot and hope to finish it this or next week.


• Posted 2 more drawings on Pillowfort: neither of them are pink popcorn / Hero ♥ Aubrey ^_^' but simply put I had other stuff going on & am happy with how they turned out.


• Bought some games: those include OMRI (I already know the story, but having the game should be fun), Heaven Will Be Mine (by the same creators of "We Know the Devil") & OneShot (watched part of a let's play a long time ago, looked fun). I also downloaded the Limbus Company game, which was free.


• Wrote more: I started a bunch more drafts, but I also furthered some fic I wanted to write, also am technically writing more in last few weeks then I have been in YEARS. So that's a Win in my opinion.


• Re-reading more HOMESTUCK: am now on page 386.


• Been thinking on reading BNHA: I quit watching the anime via reaction videos around the camp arc I think? I want to give it a 2nd chance cause I do actually like the premise of the story.


• Getting one of my GFs into Ancient Magus' Bride: We're not far into the manga yet, but I hope I can convince her it's a good manga (I find it to be, even if I'm only at chapter 30).


• Going to play Uncommon Time (by feralphoenix / ankhors) tomorrow: I don't remember how I found this game but it looks interesting! I'm going to play it with a friend & one of my GFs. Might write about it on Dreamwidth as I play.

Things I've been doing recently;

• Rereading HOMESTUCK: I've been wanting to write fanfic for it, but I'm unsure if I'm remembering canon correctly. So I've been rereading the comic up to page 337.


• Reading "The Ancient Magus' Bride" manga: I've s far found the whole story quite charming. I like how magic & the world is build up in this semi-fairytale way. I also enjoy the characters and how to speak (Chise is my blorb, I love her). Currently at the start of chapter 28.


• Trying to consume Danganronpa (V3): I am currently only semi-finished with Dangan2, so besides V3 I should be consuming the 3 anime, Dangan1 & the Dangan2 extras. I've already consumed the OVA, so I don't need to worry about that.


• Battling writer's block: I currently have 2 fics stuck in the block & to fill prompts I need to, y'know, write stuff. But currently my brain is being mean to me so I'm having problems coming up with/starting to write/finishing stories.
