Your Horror Story, My Happy Ending [NDRV3 / CW for suicide, mental health issues & child neglect] I was inspired by a tumblr re-blog chain that talked about how being the evil clone is its own horror actually! I can't find the chain anymore T_T but one line was about how your 'better' self would view your happy ending as a horror story which- isn't that what Shuichi thinks of the pre-games? Ended up starting by series about the pre-games so I'm happy!
Bouquet Of Red Spider Lillies [NDRV3 / CW for suicide & dystopia fucking people up] I've heard red spider lillies in Japan & other east-asian cultures represent death & the afterlife, which I though would be fitting for a tragic yuri which ends in what's basically enabled suicide.
Grief Isn't The End (It's The Beginning) [NDRV3 / CW for suicide, child replaced by clone & grief] Pygmalion thought about how the families of the pre-games would react & wrote this. The title is a node to the fact that grief can't really resolve itself since the people that basically died are now body-snatched by people who don't know you, not really, and life moves on.
Doesn't Matter When There's Mouths To Feed [NDRV3 / CW for poverty & suicide] The title is taken from the song "Cadmium Colors" by Jamie Page / JamieP. Which has adjacent themes to what's featured in the fic. Which is poverty pushing people towards despair.
Take My Heart And Shut Me Down [NDRV3 / CW for police brutality, child abuse & suicide] this title is actually from "Shut Me Down" by TotalSpiffage, which is an bot!Aradia fansong. But the line stood out to me for looking like a Maki-esc pre-game. IDK I thought it fit with an angry yet given up on trying vibe I went for.
Leave Behind What Doesn't Move [EPIC The Musical] an Athena-focused fic with a focus on Athena's friendship with Odysseus & the loss of it. The title is from "Time Will Change You" which to me is an Athena & Odysseus via Athena's POV song. Which yeah is sad & bittersweet.
Commas Of Care [EPIC The Musical / Athena <> Telemachus / CW for Athena being bedridden out of pain] I wanted to write some pale WiseWolf & thought of the phrase? Commas of Care. IDK where exactly but learned that it was a phrase for small acts of kindness. Which I thought was fitting for a hurt/comfort fic.
Make The Windchimes Sing! [EPIC The Musical ft. Greek Mythos] Saw that Aeolus has a wife & kids in greek mythos and wanted to write about it! (it also became a trans fic but I'm happy with it.) I actually have no clue where this title came from, but found it fitting that this is the first title with an exclamation point :3
Mislabeled As Pests [NDRV3 / CW for homelessness, poverty & classism] Pymalion kept thinking about an alternate interpetation of Gonta's forst family which was human (though pretty mistreated). The title came from the fact that the homeless are often treated as pests & felt clinial in a way that an (bug) scientist might do. Though Gonta is likely more passionate about it.
So Much For The Brave Pride Of Premonition [NDRV3 / Maki <3 Tsumugi] Pygmalion wanted to write about shirokawa because of the dubious morality it could bring >:3 the title came from the poem "How Some of It Happend" by Marie Howe. Which to her & me reads as a poem about the inevatable.
No One To Blame Except Myself [NDRV3 / CW for OCD in the context of a murder game society] Tenko reads to Pygmalion & me as having OCD. Which she thought would be an intressting fic idea for her pre-game self. The title came from "INFOHAZERD" by RIProducer, which is basically an OCD song about being exposed to traumatizing material too soon which-
Another Year On Ogygia [EPIC The Musical / sexually abusive Calypso/Odysseus] poem about Ody's time on Ogygia. Nothing to say TBH.
You Can't [FNAF gameverse / CW for unreality metafiction] just a peepaw afton quote lmao. Though it's another part of the meta in this fic.
Lovelorn The Butcheress [Homestuck / unrequited Porrim <> Kankri] a poem about Porrim being angry & entitled that Kankri doesn't love her back. Lovelorn means "lovesick via unrequited love" & butcheress felt fitting for a Maryam, but also a nod of her being atangonistic to Kankri.
Porrim Maryam + The End Of Trollkind [Homestuck / apocalyptic imagery] wanted a title which would give the context needed for the poem without me needing to tag it further.

Piles Of Ashes Where Phoenixes Will Come The series where the pre-game one-shots belong to. The title was made to be super poetic about the tragicness of the pre-games. Will put this on this journal as well at some point
