seer_beetle I've got a pretty good view of how their relationship would start & look like. Though I'd have to actually outline what I'd want to happen inside of this series of short one-shots (or long-fic) so that I could write out what happens.
Another thought I had is to connect this with my other idea; of a post-good ending fic series where the Faraway Gang (- Mari) all get together into a polycule (yes it would be messy, that's half the fun :3). Which got me the idea to make the Kel X Hero part it's own short series (since I'd imagine they'd get together before even the start of the game).
Really; I'm making a lot of work for myself. But setting 2 of the ships in their own series might lift some of the stress into more manageable chunks, instead of putting it immediately into one big-ass series. We'll see where it goes~
