So I saw a line on the hollowknight wiki that reminded me that the bugs of Hallownest thought The Pale King (TPK) created the world which- ummmmm.

You can make the argument that TPK didn't realize his citizens believed that, or thought it harmless in the grand scheme of things. Y'know, reclusive god-king who seemed to rarely appear in public who didn't have an agenda in that area. I would find that belivable if not for the fact that on the lore tablet prior to entering Hallownest it reads: "the last and only civilization, Hallownest" which, HAD to be commissioned by TPK, or at least approved since it's in, y'know; god-script.
There's also the fact that it's strait up not true. Like yes I'll belief that TPK made a bunch of bugs sophont. But even if we ignore the bees there's the matises, the spiders, mosskin, mushroom clan, the moths & at least Radiance + Unn as higher beings who lived there FIRST. Even if Unn immediatly went to bed & the moths immediatly abandoned Radiance while not talking about her anymore... Why do Hallownestians still believe that TPK created the world? Cause the other tribes are still there. Hallownest directly interacted with the mantis tribe to keep out the spiders & afterwards had a dialiance with Herrah, queen of spiders. So like, why is the misinformation still there? Or at least why do we never hear of a debate about this?
Guys,,, I'm thinking that TPK did colonialism.
