A Confession

I'm actually anxious_songbird.

The reason we made this account was to be openly proship without causing ourselves too much heartache & stress over what antis would do to us. We've heard horror stories over how people got harassed and doxed and other such things over ships & stories.

But today we realized something;

We're still gonna be us.

Our headcanons, opinions, views of things; they'll show & bleed over things we make.

We've for a while grown frustrated over the disconnect between our views on media & our cowardice regarding them. So, we're opening up now about it, at least here. Lying on the internet is a thing that happens, but hopefully you guys can understand why we did this & won't look on us poorly, we're trying to be better.

And for clarification; we're not abandoning this account. Hell we might post more now that we're not gonna hide the connection between this account & anxious_songbird.

Some Thoughts On Pre-Game Shuichi (NDRV3)

I'm gonna be honest; I don't think he'd be a yandere.

Do I think he's an unhealthy fan? Yes, but mainly in the sense that in the canon of V3; people are dying to make the thing he loves. There's no such thing as a healthy fan of an actual killing game. Even then I prefer to think of him as self-destructive then yandere.

His excitement to be part of Danganronpa speaks to us moreso as him having no other thing in life that makes him happy. If you think about it; nobody in their right mind would actually join Danganronpa willingly. They likely have little to lose by joining the death game, which doesn't bode well for the situations of the pre-game characters ("peaceful world" my ASS-).

While I'm more than open to portraying the pre-game characters as problem children. I just would want to show them moreso as products of their dystopic society than people of pure evil. People rarely choose to be evil on purpose, people wanna be the good guy when possible. And when Danganronpa is something everyone is obsessed with, wouldn't you be tempted to drown yourself in it as well?
