Spoilers Till Chapter 30 of the manga.
Despite some of the more, questionable aspects (to put it politely) of their relationship; Chise & Elias have a genuinely interesting relationship. It genuinely feels like they care about each other, just don't know how to communicate properly yet. I also like that both, but especially Chise, are allowed to have relationships outside each other (loving the friendships between Chise and Ruth / Alice).
Love how the world is built. It's a nice mix of whimsical & actually makes sense (love the metaphor of magic as altering the code of reality). It interesting how the magical world are seemingly pushed out in recent years, though I'm probably not far enough to understand the true meaning of it. Nice to see though that the magical world has been adapting to being pushed out, makes them feel genuinely living.
I do wish that the Author handled the reveal of Joseph differently ._. I've heard he gets better handled on chapter 45, but doesn't change the fact that the wandering jew is not only a character but also an antagonist.
So far Chise is my favorite character. But Elias, Silky, Ruth & Alice are characters I also like :3
I am really excited to get into the rest of the story and see how it develops ^_^
